Saima Ahmad is a healthcare leader with more than 25 years of experience in clinical laboratory operations, anatomic pathology, quality improvement, and team development. She holds a Master of Public Health and is completing her doctoral studies.

Throughout her career, Saima has helped healthcare professionals build their skills, find new opportunities, and make important career decisions. She created Healthcare Tracks to make that same guidance available to anyone who wants a career in healthcare but isn't sure where to start, whatever their degree.

Through clear career pathways, practical resources, and real-world insight, Saima helps visitors explore professions such as medical laboratory science, physical and occupational therapy, nursing, physician assistant, public health, healthcare administration, and many more. Her mission is simple: to help every person find a healthcare career that fits their strengths, interests, and goals.

The story behind Healthcare Tracks

Over 25 years in clinical laboratories and healthcare teams, I kept hearing the same question: "What can I actually do with my degree?"

It came from biology graduates, but just as often from people with degrees in social work, public health, health science, chemistry, or physics, and from pre-med students whose plans had changed. Many of them had real talent and no map.

Healthcare Tracks is that map: every path laid out plainly, with the honest details I'd share with a colleague who asked me for advice.
